Dig, a short film script by Sandra Hosking, was selected and named the September 2025 best short screenplay by Bridge Fest.
The post-apocalyptic drama was selected by a jury of 36 members from around the world. Bridge Fest Vancouver has been screening films for 20 years.
Dig also has been selected by the Skiptown Playhouse International Film Festival. This new festival in Hollywood, California, specializes in independent films with a budget less than $5 million and potential for the global market.
In addition, the Screaming Ostrich International Film Festival selected Dig for its 2025 festival, which will take place in October 2025 at the Singh Performance Center in Whitinsville, Massachusetts.
In Dig, father and daughter gravediggers serve their suburban neighborhood following a pandemic that wiped out most of the population. Someone must bury the dead.
